Jericho is one of the most unique looking dogs we have ever met. He is short and stocky with the body shape of a Basset Hound with a medium length wire haired coat. His face looks like a Schn with the scruffy beard and eye brows. A very cool dog, he is estimated to be about two years old. However, because he was found as a stray he has all of the "puppy traits" and needs all of the basic training. A fenced in yard is a MUST for this little man. Playful, friendly and fun he is good with other dogs and respects cats. He would do best in an experienced home that is willing to work with him on his basic training. He will become the best dog ever! Because of his playfulness, he still is a bit of a jumper so we suggest a home with children over the age of 12 yrs old would be best.
If you are interested in more information or would like to give Jericho his new forever home, please fill out the adoption application located on the right side of this page. Once received, one of our volunteers will contact you and be able to answer any questions you may have at that time.
Heidi is about two years old. Brindle and White Boxer Mix. She is good w/ other dogs her size, playful. She does NOT get along with any small dogs or any other small animals. High energy, a fenced in back yard would be a must for this little girl. She would do best in an active home with children over the age of 12 yrs old. Only because she is so playful that she may knock over the younger ones by accident. Heidi is being fostered in a home with many other animals. She loves to play with the horses while they are being taken care of. She is very smart and learning her commands quickly.
If you would like more information on our little Heidi, please fill out the adoption application located on the right side of this page. Once recieved, one of our volunteers will call you and be able to answer all your questions at that time.
Chopper is a 3 yr old pom that has been nick-named "Mr. Personality". He is a happy, energenic and playful little man who always seems to have a smile on his face and is currently in a foster home with other small dogs and getting along great. Chopper came to us from a shelter in Upstate NY where he found himself after his owner had tied him to a pole in a Price Chopper parking lot. His owner was eventually found, but surrendered him to the shelter because he did not want him anymore. We do not know his reasons. He was very good for his grooming. But while there, we noticed that he seemed to be a little too interested in the kitties. Because of this, we are recommending that he does not have any kitty friends in his new home. Also, because we do not know any more about his history, we are recommending a home with children over the age of five (5) yrs old. We also recommend that Chopper has a fenced in back yard. If you are interested in meeting our little Chopper or have any questions, please fill out the adoption application located on the right side of this page. Once recieved, we will call you and be happy to answer any questions you may have at that time.
Jake is a 4 yr old Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. He is smaller for his breed at only about 35-40lbs. He has been raised with children of all ages, as well as cats and gets along great with everyone. He is also microchipped which can be transfered to his new family.
Jake does have some food allergies and because of this, he would need to remain on a grain free diet.
He is a very sweet, loving, happy, friendly boy who even knows some basic commands.
If you are interested in more information, adopting or meeting Jake, please fill out the adoption application located on the right side of this page. Once recieved, one of our volunteers will contact you and answer any questions you may have at that time.
